Borderline personality disorder (bpd) is a severe mental illness. Though there are nine criteria, and an individual must meet a minimum of five to carry the diagnosis, the disorder affects four areas of a person's experience:

1. relationships are stormy coupled with an intense fear of abandonment
2. there is little connection with a sense of identity
3. there is an inability to control impulses
4. emotions are chaotic and intense

What We Do...

BPD Support Consulting provides peer consulting/trauma coaching for individuals struggling with traits of borderline personality disorder as well as educating individuals, from professionals and students to family members, on the motivations behind the behaviors found in borderline personality disorder. Once an understanding of these behaviors is in place, relationships can change.
