Everyone who interacts with someone with an illness, whether it's a mental illness or a physical illness, needs to have a protective wall that keeps you from bringing home the pain of those with whom you are involved, that helps protect you from experiencing personally their trauma, that prevents you from burning out. The wall set in place for those involved with someone with BPD usually is a brick wall. BPD Support Consulting would like to help you build a Wall of Compassion. It is with the Wall of Compassion that you will be able to protect yourself from the difficult behaviors that accompany BPD as well as allow you to respond to the individual in an empathetic and ongoing way.
In order to develop the "Wall of Compassion" one must understand the motivations behind the behaviors and be equipped with skills in which to respond.

"I wanted to let you know that because of your seminar, you saved my mental health...
It finally clicked!!!!!!!! I finally began to understand my [loved one] and work towards building a wall of compassion. Because of the experiences you shared and the information you taught, I was finally able to let go of the anger, resentment, guilt and judgment that had been building up in me. Because of my change in attitude...You saved my life!!!!!" Seminar attendee
